HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY Aquarius is one of the zodiac’s fixed signs, which means you don’t change your ways often. This year, however, you must learn to be more adaptable, especially where new technology and new techniques are concerned. Don’t get stuck in the past. Ceasefire Between Israel and Hamas Set to Begin Sunday Morning

In a significant development, Qatar announced that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will come into effect at 8:30 a.m. (0630 GMT) on Sunday. This ceasefire aims to halt the 15-month-long conflict that has resulted in devastating consequences for both sides.

The agreement, brokered by mediators from the United States, Qatar, and Egypt, includes the release of 33 hostages held by Hamas in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. The first phase of the ceasefire will see the release of three female hostages on the first day, four on the seventh day, and the remaining 26 over the next five weeks.

Israeli troops will also withdraw to a buffer zone about a kilometer wide inside Gaza, allowing displaced Palestinians to return to their homes. The ceasefire is expected to bring much-needed humanitarian aid to the devastated region.

Despite the ceasefire, tensions remain high, with continued missile attacks from Yemen and warnings from Palestinian Islamic Jihad about potential disruptions to the hostage deal.

The international community is cautiously optimistic, hoping that this ceasefire will pave the way for a lasting peace in the region.
